Technical Capabilities

Precision grinding and polishing requires advanced equipment along with a meticulous workforce. Our toolmakers routinely work with stack tolerances in the millionths (0.000050”) or less. This type of accuracy is vital in our business. Our customers’ fluid measurement and dispensing components, surgical tools, and electronic connectors each have unique requirements that demands precision.

Micro Mold is equipped with 20 Harig surface grinders that are retrofitted with Pope spindles for improved accuracy. Additionally, our fully staffed polishing department is capable diamond polishing. We are able to polish steel inserts to an A-2 finish, which is comparable to a mirror finish.
