Micro
Mold’s Product Portfolio |
|
At Micro Mold, every mold begins
with a designer translating a physical part into a set of blueprints that specify
every dimension and angle required to form the final product. Our mold
designers are knowledgeable in the unique properties that are required of
that finished product so that they can work with other engineers to select
the appropriate grade of plastic for the part. Careful material selection is
critical to creating a finished part that performs to the needed
specifications and possesses the desired characteristics. |

|
Each mold is custom designed and built
to create the intended finished product. With the advances of computing power and computer aided design
software (CAD), our mold designers and engineers can create an initial
blueprint and easily adjust each internal dimension hundreds of times in order
to perfect the mold. Not only does this process allow for better engineered
and more reliable molds, but it also expedites the overall approval process
to draft and finalize a mold’s design prior to its manufacture. |

Once the blueprints are finalized
for a mold, a team of professionals is assigned to each project. Each project team includes an owner, the
general manager, and representatives from the grinding, EDM, and finishing departments
and is led by a designated project leader. Please refer to the “Case Studies” tab for examples of our tool & die solutions that fulfilled our customers’ most challenging requirements. |
